Berlin Wall

This is a good sized chunk of the Berlin Wall. It stands maybe 9 feet tall, and this strip was about 4 feet wide.
Once side was covered with lovely, colorful graffiti. The other was clean, and pristine.
Do you think this was the western side or the eastern side of the wall?
