This building is in Huntington Beach, about two blocks from the beach. Most of my childhood was spent in this town, though not close to this particular building.

The downtown area is rather nice, and the pier is a good spot to stroll and have lunch on a warm Saturday. So, one day when I was down there, I parked on a side street right across from this building.

I love buildings filled with character, including run down and abandoned structures of all kinds. This one wasn't abandoned, or at least not all of it. There was an operating antique store, though I am not sure if other areas were occupied.

As you can see, I photoshopped the heck out of this photo. Sepia filters, contrast, black and white, the works. I wish I knew how to do that better, but this looks more exotic than the original.
