One of the noticeable things about the older central areas of LA is signage on old buildings. There are a lot of old buildings, and they can be quite colorful. Most of them are run down and colorful.

There are buildings with very elaborate artful graffiti. Some buildings have interesting logos and signage for a company. Gold's Gym was a good one I saw once.

This building just happened to be across from where I stopped for a light on the way to Hancock Park in the Wilshire district. It seemed very apt. But it did make me wonder, was this graffiti? Or did the owner or operator of the building paint that there?
