The Void at Downtown Disney

We were at a restaurant in Downtown Disney, a shopping and entertainment area next to Disneyland. The restaurant has nice patio seating where on a warm night you can watch the swarm of tourist shoppers as they wander about, finding ways to spend money on meaningless trinkets.

I have taken to dragging my camera around to random places on the principle that the more photos I take, the greater the chance that I will capture something decent. Sometimes I feel like I am cheating. Sort of like throwing a bunch of chimpanzees in a room with typewriters and working them to death until I get some great work of literature.

If you calculate the rate of (pictures taken):(pictures posted) I think it is somewhere around 100:1. At least. Now, that counts all the mundane snaps of my wife and cat which I never intend to post anywhere. If you narrow it down to (Pictures I try to take well):(Pictures that actually look semi-decent) it is more like 50:1.

But I digress.

So, we were at this restaurant on an outside patio. I looked up and oooohh pretty, the roof facade through the break in the awnings. I took a picture. Well, a couple of them. Three actually. It’s the principle that the more photos you take, the greater the chance that one of them will actually be worth something. Not sure if this is worth something, but I kind of like it, so here it is.
