Seeing Air

It was foggy and the air was heavy with water.
The mist was swirling in the car lights, at times hanging almost motionless, at others carried in weird convolutions by odd currents of air. The slight changes in air flow were so small they could not be felt, but they could be seen by looking at the mist. I whipped out my camera, dropped it, picked it up, took a picture, removed the lens cap, took another picture, removed the polarizing filter that made the exposure time 5 seconds, and finally took a couple of photos that seemed to capture the flavor of what I was seeing. Because it was dark the exposure time was still a little long, so the droplets appear as small streaks as they moved. Still, that may be best, as is shows their trajectory as they are bounced around in the air currents.
