The aurora from Cleary Summit, outside of Fairbanks. It was pretty, moved like worms on a sidewalk after a rain, and had colors.

The top image was taken about 2 AM after clouds had begun to roll in. It helps illustrate just how big those things are.

The bottom was taken about 11:00 PM. Yes, it was still light out, though the sun had set an hour or more before.
